July 2011 – Criminal Mischief in the First Degree

ADJUDICATED – Client, sixteen years old was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the First Degree, a Class D felony which carries a maximum punishment of up to seven years in prison for destruction of his high school property valued at greater than $11,000.00. After negotiating with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, the client was adjudicated as a youthful offender on a misdemeanor rather than the charged felony thus allowing the client to avoid a criminal record.
